Deon Cole Holiday SOULcial Party with Mark Fulla and Al B. Sure
Holiday SOULcial Party
As I continue my run of events for the month of December I decided to “pop out” and hang with DJ Mark Fullaflava, Deon Cole, and Al B. Sure at the Brass Monkey which is located at 401 N. Morgan at the Fulton Market in Chicago. DJ Mark Fullaflava is probably one of the most well known Chicago DJ’s that not only produces his own records as well as DJ’ing some of the hottest parties in Chicago, but he is also known for producing and running a variety of events throughout the city that have been long-standing and popular for many years.

Known for his “First Fridays” parties DJ Mark Fullaflava is a staple in the DJ and nightlife scene in Chicago, and rightfully so.
Mark has been DJ’ing since the mid 80’s and was once voted the top club DJ in Chicago by City Alert. He has been personally requested by such celebs asĀ Vivica Fox, Dwele, Larenz Tate, Roy Ayers, Erykah Badu, The Roots, Kindred the Family Soul, Musiq Soulchild, John Legend and Earth Wind & Fire. So it’s fair to say that whenever he is promoting an event–you probably should be there!

The Brass Monkey is a really nice spot located on Morgan not too far off from Lake street located several blocks north of Lake. It’s actually a restaurant that was converted for the event.
